Speaking of Dying DVD

dying1_1Purchasing the Speaking of Dying DVD allows you to watch the film in your own home or with a group. The DVD package includes a Resource Guide with suggestions for viewing groups, tips on how to follow up the film, and sample questions for group discussion. Also included are a glossary of end-of-life resources and a list of possible life-sustaining treatments. 

If you wish to take part in one of the End-of-Life Planning Workshops — as seen in the film and described on this website — the Resource Guide contains the names and contact information for trained group facilitators. The guide also include film credits and the names of major donors and sponsors.

Note: The DVD now includes a closed caption option, courtesy of Dr. Jo Munson and Sound Associates.

Special screening to celebrate 2nd Anniversary of the film, followed by Q&A with the director, producer and people featured in the film. Cocktail party with music, appetizers, raffle, presentation, book signing and more.

Screening at the Washington State Department of Health, Olympia and Kent. Open to all Department of Health employees.

Wednesday, May 3

Join us for a screening of the film and Q&A; open to the public.

Location: St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Parish Hall, 111 N.E. 80th St.


Tuesday, May 16th

Free screening of the film. Signups for End-of-Life Planning Groups will be held after the meeting.
